The BGCMC Way

Our organization was established in 1992. Since that time, the Club has emerged as the premier youth development agency in Mitchell County. For twenty years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mitchell County has been in the forefront of youth development, working with young people who need us most. The Club offers young people what they need and want most: adults who respect and listen to them, a safe environment where they can have fun and be themselves, and interesting, constructive activities that channel their energy into challenging pursuits. We have actively sought to enrich the lives of girls and boys whom other youth agencies fail to reach. We are dedicated to ensuring that our community’s youth have greater access to quality programs and services that will enhance their lives and shape their futures.

Our Organization

As a non-profit organization dedicated to those who need us most, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mitchell County seeks to not only care for our members, but provide quality learning and growth opportunities for all walks of life. If you are interested in becoming a member or enrolling someone into our organization, we urge you to do so. We are proud of the service that we are able to provide and would be honored to serve you.

Those Who Need Us Most

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Mitchell County serve the communities of Camilla, Jester, and Pelham. We welcome persons aged between 5 and 18. We serve members in three main Club locations, along with a special unit in Camilla dedicated to serving teens ages 13 to 18. Our Clubs strive to make a difference in the community by giving young people a safe place to learn and grow.
